LUCIEN PICCARD - A Swiss watch brand that has been producing watches since its fundation in 1923 in Laussane, Switzerland. It is a brand enriched in vintage heritage and timeless style, superb artisanship and timeless designs. Soon after the company was founded, they began to embellish watches with precious gemstones. Many of their karat gold watches made for both men and women feature diamond bezels and dials that are sometimes adorned with colored gemstones. While these high-end examples are more valuable today (as one would expect), many very affordable Lucien Piccard watches have been produced as well.

This is a pre-owned Lucien Piccard automatic wristwatch, reference LP-26570BK, dated May 2014.

It features an analog display powered by an automatic movement, complete with a central second hand, 12/24-hour dial, day/date subdials, and a moon phase indicator.

Housed in a 42.5mm stainless steel round case, it boasts an exhibition case back and is water-resistant up to 3 ATM. Mineral crystal and original LP crown. 

Black textured dial showcases silver Arabic numerals, luminous hour markers, a white minute/second track, and matching silver hands. The dial is signed with the Lucien Piccard name/logo and “Automatic” at the top. 

This watch comes with the original black genuine leather two-piece strap featuring white contrast stitching, along with the original double box. 

It is in very good condition and features a fresh battery!

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust the lighting, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
